Board Leadership

Mr. T. Nelson Williams

 

 

Mr. Williams II brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience across Fortune 500 companies and international institutions. He currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at Conex Oil and Gas Holdings and CEO of the Conex Foundation. His previous roles include Managing Director of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC), Vice President at Bank of America, and Regional Director at Ticketmaster Southeast. He has held leadership positions with major organizations, including SunTrust Bank, American Express, First Investors Corporation, and Bass Hotels International. His civic and board service spans both local and international organizations, including ECOBANK Liberia, YMCA, Teach for Liberia (Advisory Board Chairman), the President’s Young Professionals Program (Co-Chairman), the American Management Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, and Emerging Public Leaders. He also serves as a Councilman at the Liberia Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Williams holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from St. Augustine’s University, an MPA from North Carolina Central University, and an Honorary PhD in Christian Leadership and Business from CORE Kingdom University. He has earned professional certificates in Human Resources from North Carolina State University and Project Management from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Ms. Esther Barclay

 

Mrs. Barclay brings extensive legal and regulatory expertise to the Board. She currently serves as Legal Counsel at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), where she previously worked as a Research Officer and Attorney-At-Law. She is an active member of the Liberian National Bar Association and the Lions Club International. Mrs. Barclay holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law and Finance from Widener University School of Law in Delaware. She is also a candidate for an M.Sc. in International Relations at the University of Liberia. Admitted to the Supreme Court Bar of the Republic of Liberia as a Counselor-at-Law, she earned both her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.) degrees from the University of Liberia. She is also a graduate of B.W. Harris Episcopal High School in Monrovia.

Ms. Ellen Crayton

 Ms. Ellen Crayton is a seasoned technology and business strategy leader with more than 20 years of experience guiding global IT initiatives. As President and CEO of GenesisTMG, LLC, she specializes in digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to drive innovation and operational efficiency across both public and private sectors.

Her career includes senior leadership roles in major U.S. corporations, beginning with her tenure as Senior Manager of IT Services at Ernst & Young. A respected advisor to executives worldwide, Ms. Crayton is recognized for her ability to integrate advanced technologies into business processes and support long-term strategic growth.

She is also a published author, contributing to global discussions on AI and life sciences through her books Redefining Life Sciences with Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain and Biases and Dangers in Artificial Intelligence: Responsive Global Policy for Safe and Beneficial Use of Artificial Intelligence. She remains active in prominent professional organizations, including the Government Blockchain Association and IEEE, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Crayton is committed to community development in Grand Bassa County, where she supports sustainable agriculture and hospitality initiatives. She holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a B.Sc. in Management from Saint Francis College, as well as multiple executive certifications from institutions such as MIT Sloan and Cornell University.
